Review of DIYP Home Studio an Ebook by Udi Tirosh

Authored by Mr.Udi Tirosh the founder of DIY Photography one of the better websites available today for all kinds of DIY projects relating to photography. Turning the pages one by one; the claim of the author that “the book is filled with great projects that you can build or adopt to enhance your photographs’ was proved right.
The concept of DIY (do it yourself) is a real boon to those who lack bagful of money but have time, interest and energy instead.
Simple descriptions, step by step photographs of the work all make even an unskilled person capable of making things as per his requirements and develop his skills; all done in spare time at meager cost. Materials used for the projects are very cheap and also easily available. Hardboard cartons, aluminum foils, turkey pan, compact fluorescent lamps etc transform to softboxes, reflectors, stands, and more. The products turn out to be essential photographic gears which are to be otherwise purchased from stores at exorbitant costs.
The user-friendly approach of the author can be gauged from many open and frank statements like “old models and second hand strobes can be found from e-bay at less than $5 a piece”. He definitely cares the readers’ pocket! DIYP strongly benefits from Udi Tirosh’s own experience designing, developing and using these gadgets himself. The website highlights that one need not be rich to be a successful photographer.
Light Modifiers, Soft Boxes, Reflectors, Diffusion Screens, V Cards, PVC light stands, Gobos, Flags etc are all featured in the book. So do give it a try it is worth every penny you spend. If you need to have a look at some of his other works before trying out the product to get an idea of what you could expect in the book; do visit his website here. .DIYphotography.
And finally here’s the link to the Ebook - DIYP Home Studio
A thing of beauty is a joy for ever; a beautiful thing made by one self is sweeter still!
