Corymborkis Du Petit - Thouars

A pantropical genus of 5 species of terrestrial orchids , Corymborkis is represented in India by a single species , C. veratrifolia (Reinw. ) Bl. ,also recorded from Kerala .

Tall woody ground orchids with un-branched stems , narrow elliptic or ovate leathery and an axillary panicle of white fragrant flowers .

Occurrence : Quilon and Palghat Districts.

Distribution : Throughout tropical Asia from India to Samoa islands.
