Wight described this species after a collection from 'Iyamally' , Coimbatore .We found this species growing in Wayanad.This is a new state record . Occurrence : Wayanad District. Distribution : Regional Endemic (Karnataka (type) and Kerala). Diplocentrum congestum Wight.
