Originally described by Dalzell based on a Stocks collection from Ram Ghat made in August 1851. Occurrence : Trivandrum , Pathanamthitta , Idukki, Thrissur , Palghat and Wayanad Districts. Distribution : Regional Endemic (Maharashtra , Karnataka , Kerala and Tamil Nadu).
