Goodyera Robert Brown

A widespread genus across warmer parts of the world except Africa , Goodyera has about 160 species . India is known to have 20 species . Only one species is known to occur in Kerala .

Originally described from Nepal based on a collection by Lambert.

Occurrence : Trivandrum , Idukki and Palghat Districts.
