Saccolabiopsis pusilla (Lindl.) Seidenf. & Garay a. habit, b. flower, c. dorsal sepal, d. lateral sepal, e. petal, f. lip, g. flower-cut through column and spur, h. column-front view. i. operculum, j. and K. pollinarium This was collected from a road side tree (Elaeocarpus tuberculatus) near Angamuzhi during March 1991. It flowered under cultivation the same year (CSK 1432 TBGT!) proving to be a new generic as well as species record for peninsular India Occurrence : Pathanamthitta District. Distribution : India , Balgladesh , Burma and Thailand . |
