This temple is at the southern side of the highway. A sacred place left for the wild (A sacred grove is a small piece of forest left for wild animals and birds to live undisturbed by human beings. As per traditional believes this grove is kept as a sacred place and the trees growing there are not cut any cost. A pond is also a must for a kavu to meet the water requirements of its occupants..Generally an image is kept within this grove and a sand-stone lamp is placed beside the image. This oil lamp is lighted daily as a mark of respect to the surroundings) This temple is in a state of neglect and the image is lost leaving the place empty but the grove and the pond is still there as a remnant of a temple. Walls of the Shree-kovil still remain and it is directed eastwards. Daily pooja is not held due to its orphan state. At present this temple and surrounding areas are known as Kavuvila.
