Home > Temples of Kerala > Time of pradakshina Time of pradakshinaPradakshina can be done whenever the temple is open except during certain timings set apart for nivedya (offering of food to the deity). However according to Amusumathi-aagama it is considered auspicious to conduct pradakshina four times in a day (viz. morning, noon, evening and night) depending on futurity value ie, roga-mukthi (cure from diseases) in morning, abeeshta-siddhi (fulf1lment of desires) at noon, paapa-naasanam (elimination of sins) in the evening and moksha (final liberation) at night. Needless to stress that every pradakshir:ahas to be done, as explained earlier, with great concentration and total dedication
