Neelamperoor Palli Bhagavathy Temple

Neelamperoor Palli Bhagavathy Temple ( Durga ) 12 kms south of Kottayam and two Kms west of Kurichi out post on MC road. the idol of Mahavishnu resembles of Sree Budha. One festival known as " Patayani" is unique in many ways. The effigies of Bhima, Ravana, Kattalan ( forester) are made with artistic skill and are brought in front of the temple, with the participation of thousands of devotees.
