In addition to the routine offering of nivedya it is followed by Sree-bali, if the temple has parivaara-prathishta. As otherwise the bali is done at bali-peetha of the Agni, the presumption being that Agni will take the offering to all other deities. Sometimes this role is given toVaayu. The order of offering of bali is almost similar to Sree Bhootha-bali explained earlier. but not so elaborate. Only in major temples Sree-bali is conducted. The Sree-bali (Seeveli) vigraha is ordinarily taken by a keezh-saanthi on his head or in hand. In temples having elephants and where for daily Sree-bali they are used, the Sree-bali idol is fixed on the thitambu and is taken in procession on a caprisoned elephant by the keezh-saanthi. Daily Sree-bali has three rounds and afterwards the bali-vigraha is taken back to its original place at the grabha-grha. During Sree-bali oblations are offered to various bali-Devathas in the anthar-mandala, outer bali-peethas, valia-balikkall, and dwaja.
