Home > Temples of Kerala > Pantheerati-pooja Pantheerati-poojaPantheerati, literally meaning twelve feet, determines the time of pooja based on human shadow measuring twelve feet in the morning, (vide Annexure II), which will correspond to 5 naazhikaas (2 hours) after sunrise (ie approximately between 8 and 8.30 a.m). Only in major temples this pooja is done but this worship is elaborate in nature followed by abhisheka with tender coconut water, milk, panchagavya etc. one after the other.
