The sruva and the points which have been touched by the Sruva are then washed. Again ghee is offered to homa-kunda by chanting sakthi- manthra and peetha touched with the sampaatha, similar to earlier procedure. Similarly by pranava-manthra ghee is offered to the altar and sampaatha taken is made to touch the nampumsaka-sila. Similar procedure is followed by ashta- bandha. The sampaathas from all homa-kurndas are then taken in one kalasa and flowers offered to the bimba by reciting homa-manthras. The residual sampaathas,of; the homa-kundas are then mixed in one vessel and by reciting moola-manthra of the deity, made to touch the nidra-kalasa, vidyeswara-kalasa, other kalasas and karkkari (goblet or water vessel with snouts), thereby invoking power of the deity in them also.
