Vidyeswara-Kalasa pooja

Vidyeswara-kalasas, eight in number, are kept at the eight directions of the sayya on separate swasthik-padmas. The Devathas for these kalasas and manthras are different for each deity. The water used for these kalasas is ashta-gandhajala. This is meant for prokshana of the deity
