Mulagu Kondattam - Dried Chilli Fries
Ingredients of Mulagu Kondatam
Makes: 250 gms
250 gms green chillies,kept whole,with stems intact
1 1/2 cups curd,whisked
1 heaped tbsp salt
Method of Preparation of Mulagu Kondatam
- Wash chillies,plunge into boiling water and remove immediately.Spread out on a tray,cover with a thin muslin cloth and keep in the sun for 2 days.
- Mix salt and curd in a bowl,add chillies and leave for 2 hours.
- Remove chillies from mixture and spread out on the tray again.Keep in the sun till chillies are completely dry.Store in a bottle.
- Deep fry chillies as required and serve as an accompaniment at a meal where rice is served.
